How Web Standards Evolve

For a long time, we had the ACID2 test. Then Web 2.0 came, and brought a new set of requirements to web browsers. As such, the ACID3 test debuts. As humanity evolves, the web standards follow. Now, we have the Homer test. Is your browser capable of rendering Homer correctly?

According to Michael Valenta‘s comment in the previous post, the “I LOVE YOU” is part of pserver authentication protocol. I just found a page that explains this funny authentication protocol: on success, the server responds “I LOVE YOU“; on failure, “I HATE YOU”.
